Psalm 46:1 - God is my Helper

Exposition

God is our refuge – A refuge is a place of safety where anyone in danger can run to. While in the refuge you are sheltered from everything happened outside, because the refuge is a fortress. Therefore God is waiting for you to come Him when danger lurks around you.

and strength – God is the source of strength to those who are weak and defenceless. Many of the challenges you face are spiritual and as God is Spirit, He is perfectly placed to fight your battles. The angels report to Him because He is the Lord of Hosts.
God wants you to rely on Him. He wants you to make Him the first point of call in all situations.  This truth should be the source of your confidence that the One you are dependent on, has never lost a battle. You should remember that all power belongs to God.

an ever-present  – God is always available. He does not sleep, He does not need rest. He is just a prayer away.

help in trouble – God is tried and tested. He has proved Himself throughout the generations. He is a man of war. He is all sufficient. You must know that satan wants to bring you down and at the same time blind your mind from going to the only One who can help you.
Resist the devil by going to God today and Satan will flee in Jesus name.

Prayer
Thank you for you are my God and my king. Thank you for you are available at all times. Thank you for I am safe in you and with you. Help me Lord to remember that men can disappoint  but you do not disappoint.
I ask that you help me today by taking away every trouble that I am facing. Let every attack from satan and his agents come to nothing in Jesus name. Amen.
