Genesis 21:1 - Do as you have spoken

 

And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

Prayer

In your mercy and loving kindness, I ask that you visit me as you did to Sarah.

You are faithful and true, you say and you do.

Do not delay, all you have said concerning me, let them come to pass now in Jesus name. Amen.

Genesis 20:3 - Visit my enemy

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.

Prayer

I ask that you attend to all you stand against my interests, visit them in the quiet of the night and put fear into them.

Let them know I am your beloved, cause them to give in and do whatever they have to do for me to have victory.

Thank you father, I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

Genesis 19:17, 26 - I will not look back

And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Prayer

Lord as I obey you, help me to obey with all my heart.

I do not want half obedience any longer so as not to suffer the consequences of disobedience.

I pray whatever I decide to leave behind, help me remember that I do not need to look back on the things I have forsaken.

Help me to look forward to a better tomorrow, and a better relationship with you.

Thank you father for a new day.

I have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Genesis 19:16 - I will no longer linger

And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Prayer

Help me to be sensitive to warnings from all you send to me.

Help me obey and react immediately to what you want me to do.

Lord I do not want you to give me a choice, I ask that you do what is needed to push me to my destiny.

Have mercy on me O Lord, every barrier to my progress must give me now in Jesus name. Amen.

Genesis 18:2-4

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Prayer

Grant me a heart that is hospitable, not looking at social class, race or gender.

Incline my heart to give my best, not holding back for I do not know when I will entertain angels.

Let me find favour in your sight at all times, do not pass me by, my LORD and saviour.
