Ezra 8:22 - God is my protector

For I was ashamed to ask the king for a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy on our way, since we had told the king, "The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him."

Prayer

Lord because I know you and I am your child, I will never have to look elsewhere for protection.

Help me to always seek you and as I do so, let your hand be upon me.

I pray I will never experience your wrath in Jesus name. Amen

Proverbs 15:8 - My prayers will be his delight

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Prayer

I pray that my heart is right and continues to be right with you.

Let my prayers be your delight. Answer me speedily in Jesus name.

I pray that wickedness is never found in me in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Kings 17:9 - Let my helper respond now

"Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you."

Prayer

As you speak to me, help me to hear you.

Immediately I hear, help me to respond immediately.

Lord, let whosoever you have commanded to help and favour me react immediately to your word in Jesus name.

I will not miss my helper; my helper will not miss me in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer

I need your word today.

Let there be a specific release from heaven to me.

I pray for instruction that would guide me in Jesus name. Amen

Colossians 4:3-4 - Pray for Preachers

Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

Prayer

I pray for all who minister the word that their preaching would be effective.

Their speech will be clear to all who listen to them and lives would be transformed by the power of the holy spirit in Jesus name.
