James 5:18 - Let the heavens give rain

And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Prayer

As a new season unfolds before my rain, I pray with every fibre of my being: give me rain.

Bless the work of my hands.

Let me be fruitful from this moment.

Thank you for making it possible to see another year in Jesus name. Amen

Psalm 65:9 - Water my life

You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.

Prayer

Lord I ask that you visit me, for there is always evidence in whoever encounters you.

Water me; let every appearance of dryness be in the past.

Lord, you are full of water, full of blessings and miracles, do not pass me by.

Hear my humble cry this day my LORD and maker.

Provide me bread, make a way for me, let your name and your name alone be glorified. Amen

Isaiah 60:22 - I am a strong nation

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

Prayer

I will experience major increase in Jesus name.

I will be strong, unbreakable and unconquerable in Jesus name.

Let your word come to pass speedily; let this time be your time O LORD. Amen

Matthew 11:28-30 - I receive rest

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Prayer

Thank you for the invitation O Lord. The troubles are many, and as I drop them at your feet today, I receive rest in exchange. I refuse to worry about the things you can fix. Thank you for your loving kindness in Jesus name. Amen

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 - Run away from evil

There must never be found among you anyone who sacrifices his son or daughter in fire, practices divination, interprets omens, practices sorcery, casts spells, or who is a medium, an occultist, or a necromancer.

Whoever practices these things is detestable to the LORD, and the LORD your God will expel them before you because of these things.

Prayer

Help me to run far away from all the things that you detest.

Open my eyes to how all these things are couched as normal by agents of satan.

I certainly have no other God but you.

Do not detest me. Open your eye of grace towards me in Jesus name. Amen.

Proverbs 16:9 - I surrender

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Prayer

            Lord I have a tendency to strategize, I am always thinking of the way out or forward.

Have mercy on me. Help me to come round to the fact that you are Almighty.

Help me to understand that without you I can’t do anything.

Help me to surrender totally to you.

I ask let your will be done in my life. Amen

1 Corinthians 6:9 -10 - Inherit the Kingdom

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Prayer

Lord help me to stay righteous for I want to inherit the Kingdom.

This promise must come to pass in my life.

Help me to run away from every behaviour type you have listed in your word for your word is true. Amen.

Hebrews 10:12 - I am paid for by Jesus Christ

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Prayer

Thank you Jesus for paying the price once and for all.

I do not need to do anything additional, all I have to do is accept Jesus died for me and he is the son of God. Simple.

I ask that you continue to intercede for me, at the right hand side of God. Amen
