Revelation 1:18

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Prayer

I thank God that Jesus Christ died and now lives forevermore.
Jesus Christ now has the keys of hell and death.
I declare that death has no hold over me.
I thank God that I am on the way to heaven.

Ephesians 5:26

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Prayer

I pray that my heart will be continually cleansed by the word.
I pray that I will not retain any filth and I will do all that the word says.

Matthew 27:63-64

Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

Prayer

I thank God that all who have ganged up, thinking to keep me down, trying hard to secure failure for me have failed and will continue to fail.
Just as they were disgraced in the time of Christ, so are they disgraced now in Jesus name.

Matthew 27:51

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Prayer

I thank God I am not barred from speaking to God.
The barrier was broken a long time ago, the power of God manifested on the day Christ rose again.
All glory to God.

Galatians 2:16

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Prayer

I thank God that all my sins have been pardoned because I made a choice to believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins.
I appreciate God that I did not have to do anything but believe.
God is good.

Romans 5:17

For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Prayer

I thank you for the abundance of grace that is mine.
I thank you for the gift of righteousness.
I will no longer live with the expectation that I am a sinner.
I bless you sir because there is room for me to reign in Christ

Romans 5:2

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Prayer

Thank you for Jesus.
I see that as long as I continue in faith, I cannot fall out of grace which you bestowed upon me.
I stand bold and shout halleluiah, be glorified in all the earth, amen.

Ephesians 3:20

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Prayer

I come to the one who is able to do to me and for me, much more than I can ask or think, let me find favour this day.
I summon all the faith that I have, I stir up the power in me that has kept me going till this moment, hear my cry, answer me speedily, my life is in your hands, amen.

Romans 5:1

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Prayer

I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and he died for my sins.
I did nothing to deserve it, I receive my pardon from all my sins with joy.
I thank you father for giving me peace through Jesus.

Ephesians 4:8

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Prayer

I give all glory and honour to your name.
Lord, all that has ever attempted to capture me and render me impotent, you captured when you died and rose again.
I refuse to be captured by one who has no power over me; I am free to do as you have ordained me.
Thank you for the gifts you have showered upon me for use in ministry,
You are my all in all.

Matthew 1:21

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Prayer

Thank you for giving your son the name, Jesus, meaning the anointed one.
Lord he came for no other reason but to save.
Jesus came for his people; I am now part of “his people”. I thank you father.
Thank you for saving me from sin.

Matthew 10:19-20

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Prayer

I depend on you for what to say in times of persecution. I know I cannot be tongue tied.
Help me to be alert to your spirit.
I also depend on you for what to say when the opportunity to evangelise presents itself.
Use me as your labourer, thank you for the opportunities in Jesus name, amen.

Luke 10:19

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Prayer

I receive the power to stamp on and destroy every serpent and scorpion.
All the power of the enemy, not some of it is under my feet.
I allow the realisation that nothing the enemy does to me can hurt me flow into my mind.
Lord I start to walk in the power, I start to use the authority from today in Jesus name, amen.

Psalm 143:8

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Prayer

I pray you’d meet me every morning, for me to experience your mercies.
I sincerely do not have any other God to turn to.
There is darkness everywhere, show me where to go and how to get there, I am yours Lord and you are mine.
Thank you father in Jesus name, amen.

1 Corinthians 4:20

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

Prayer

Lord I must move in the power of your kingdom, grant me the grace to move from empty words to demonstrating the power.
I must be transformed, lives must be transformed in Jesus name, amen.

2 Timothy 4:18

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer

Lord as you have promised, deliver me from every work of the devil and his agents in Jesus name.
I am free in Jesus name. I cannot be defeated because I am preserved unto the kingdom of God.
All you do for me will bring glory to your name in Jesus name, amen.

Isaiah 30:21

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Prayer

Lord every obstacle to my hearing you is removed in Jesus name.
I will receive direction from your you always and by your grace I will follow in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 12:34b

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Prayer

Lord I cannot get enough of you, as you fill me daily, help me to speak the things that will glorify you.
Control my heart I pray O Lord, in Jesus name, amen.

Matthew 6:22

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Prayer

Lord I pray that my eyes see what they have to see, what you have purposed them to see.
I pray that my eyes will be a vehicle of the light of Christ shining into my life.
Thank father in Jesus name, amen.

Job 42:10

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Prayer

Help me to pray for the people and know and those I do not know.
As I pray, answer me, turn my captivity into liberty and bless me more than you have ever done.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Job 42:2

I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

Prayer

Lord there is nothing you cannot do.
There is nothing I can hide from you.
You are almighty. I am in your hands. You have promised to do me well.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Jude 1:24-25

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Prayer

I surrender to the only one who will keep me from falling.
I pray on that day, you will have exceeding joy when you present me.
All glory and honour to you now and forever in Jesus name. Amen.

Jude 1:20

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Prayer

Lord help me to build my faith, I do not have any but you.
Let all my prayer to you be in the Holy Ghost, inspired by you.
Let my prayer to you be unselfish.
Prayer inspired by you will be answered by you.
Thank you father for Jesus. Amen.

Jude 1:4

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Lord make us more aware of what is happening around us.
Let your fire come upon all who have come into my church, home, and business without my consent.
Let your east wind blow all the wicked away, all who deny you are God, all who see your handiwork and continue to call on others.

Jonah 4:1

But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.

Prayer

I pray that joy will fill my heart when people repent and God reverses the planned punishment.
I pray that anger will be far from me in Jesus name.
Lord I pray that the possible repentance of people will drive me to obey God at all times. Amen.

1 Peter 3:8-9

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

Prayer

Lord help me to show compassion to all around me.
I want to be compassionate without expecting anything in return.
I want to be able to do something to help people, not just offer theoretical stuff that will not solve immediate issues.
I pray that I am a blessing at all times and not returning an eye for an eye.
Thank you father for helping me in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 27:1

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation -- so why should I be afraid? The LORD protects me from danger -- so why should I tremble?

Prayer

Thank you Lord for you are my light and my salvation.
You who said let there be, and there was.
Darkness and fear of the devil and his agents are banished from my life in Jesus name. Amen

Ezekiel 22:30

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

Prayer

As I enlist to stand the gap, I ask for the grace to see this assignment through in Jesus name.
I pray Lord, do not destroy my nation, my family, my children, do not destroy businesses, rather have mercy and let your name be glorified.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Amos 4:13

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

Prayer

Almighty God, it’s all about you, all powerful and all knowing God.
There is nothing that was made that was not made by you.
You are so great; you know what I am thinking about.
You allow the night to be followed by day and vice versa.
You sit in the heavens and your footstool reaches the earth.
The angels hearken to you, Jehovah Saboath.
I stand in awe of you.

Job 38:12

Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

Prayer

I command the month of April to bring into my life everything that has been ordained by God.
Every creation of God will cooperate and join hands with me to bring all God has purposed in Jesus name. Amen.
I command darkness to recede and light of Christ to take its place.
