Psalm 34:17

The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Prayer

You have said when I cry you will hear.
I cry unto you today, and I believe you for speedy answers in Jesus name.
I ask that you deliver me out of every trouble that the enemy has programmed against me in Jesus name.
Let the hosts of heaven arise and fight for me and all that concerns me.
Thank you for freedom and victory in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 34:16

The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Prayer

Lord God Almighty, let all who have done or are doing evil against me and all that is mine see your face.
You have promised to fight for me, you have promised me that you will avenge me.
They and their generations must be wiped off the face of the earth.
Their wickedness must come to an end.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Psalm 34:15

The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

Prayer

The righteousness of Christ is my righteousness.
Lord let your eyes be upon me.
Be attentive to my cry today, be me at the point of my need.
Let your name be glorified.

Psalm 34:14

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

Prayer

I willingly decide to stop doing things that will not glorify you.
You went about doing good. Help me to emulate you.
You are the prince of peace. Let my desire to live in peace work for me.
Thank you father in Jesus name.

Psalm 34:13

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Prayer

Help me to keep my tongue in check.
Help me to keep away from worldly wisdom, saying things that would not bring glory to your name. Amen.

Psalm 34:11

Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

Prayer

Father I come to you with all the diligence I can muster.
I want to listen to you, I want to obey you. Help me.
Teach me to fear you. Fearing you is beneficial to my soul.
Help me learn how to relate to you.

Psalm 34:8-10

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Prayer

I have tasted and I testify that you are good.
Help me to continue to trust in you.
Give me a spirit that would fear God in all I do and say.
As I develop full dependence I know that I will never lack, neither will I suffer hunger and all that I need will always be provided by you, in Jesus name. Amen

Psalm 34:5-6

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Prayer

I thank you because you are always there for me.
I pray that whenever I am in your presence my countenance will be brightened.
Shame and reproach will be far away from me.
Hear me at all times I pray, and deliver me from trouble that tries to engulf me.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 34:1-3

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Prayer

I pray that I will continually bless you every moment of my life.
May your praise never leave my mouth.
There is none like you. You do not change, the same yesterday, today and forever.
You are the lifter up of my head.
You have kept me from the fiery darts of the devil.
All glory and honour to your name.
Thank you for being my God. Amen.

Psalm 34:7

The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Prayer

I ask for the spirit of the fear of the Lord today.
You are the Lord of the hosts of heaven. Let the hosts come to me and protect me..
I have to be delivered out of the hands of the agents of darkness. Amen

Acts 9:36, 39

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

Prayer

Lord give me a heart that will desire to be like Dorcas.
Just as you went about doing good, I pray this day that I will be remembered for doing good.
When I need help, let help be available for me in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 9:34-35

And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

Prayer

As you make me whole in every area - my health, my finances, my ministry, on my job, my business, my children and my relationships, my soul, spirit and body will hear and respond immediately in Jesus name.
The miracle in my life will be heard and seen by all and the whole community will turn to Christ in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 9:31

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Prayer

Let followers of Christ all over the world find rest in you.
I pray that your word will cause growth in the lives of your children.
Grant me the spirit of the fear of the Lord.
Touch the hearts of the people who have not accepted you as Lord, cause them to come to you.
The kingdom of the devil is reducing in numbers while the Kingdom of God is increasing daily.

Acts 8:29-31

Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

Prayer

Father I ask for a heart that would understand scripture.
I ask for help in every area where I need guidance.
Whoever you have assigned to guide me, cause the person to move speedily to my side in Jesus name. Amen

Acts 8:4

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word.

Prayer

I pray that nothing will stop me from going out to preach the word.
I ask that you cause all the hearts that I speak to be convicted by the truth in your word.
Thank you father in Jesus name.

Acts 7:34

I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

Prayer

Lord this has to be my time. I have cried unto you, take me to my destiny.
Deliver me from every obstacle in my way now in Jesus name.
My deliverance has to be now. I have to start towards my promises.
Thank you for hearing in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 6:2

Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Prayer

Help me to focus on what you have sent me to do here on earth.
Help me to close my eyes to the things that look good to achieve but will not be a step towards my purpose.
Lord I’ve got to put in my best, the mansions are waiting...

Acts 5:42

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Lord help me to live Jesus Christ, teach and preach Him daily at every opportunity.
Prepare the hearts of those your children will come into contact with.
Bless all efforts everywhere all over the world where this is done.
Thank you for your grace to fulfil my purpose in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 5:29

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Prayer

Almighty God, I have decided that I will always strive to obey you rather than obeying men.
Help me to keep my vow.
Let your grace abound towards me. Help to choose the side of truth continuously without fail.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 5:12-14

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Prayer

I ask that you use me to do signs and wonders for your name to be glorified.
Let there be unity in the local church, let there be unity among churches in the nations.
I pray that as you use me, many believers will be added to the church in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 5:3

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Prayer

I refuse every attempt by satan to fill my heart with lies.
I refuse to hear what satan is trying to tell me.
Lord help me to build barriers in my heart to stop me hearing and giving in to satan.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 4:10-11

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Prayer

The death of Jesus Christ on the cross and his resurrection from the dead is the reason why I am a victor today, because Jesus was victorious.
Everywhere I have been looked down upon, they will look up to me in Jesus name, everywhere I have been shunted to the back of the queue nothing will happen until I take my rightful place at the top in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 3:7-9

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Prayer

As I come into contact with you, your touch will bring healing into every area of my life.
I receive strength into every area of weakness and pain.
As my situation changes, the world will see me praising you.

Act 3:12

And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

Prayer

Lord I pray that your miracle in my life today will cause all who hear about it or see it, marvel about how great you are in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Timothy 2:1-3

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Prayer

I pray for all who are in authority over me, the local government officials or the Mayor, the members of Parliament, Congress or National Assembly, the State Governor and Ministers , that you give them wisdom to rule over the land, hearts that fear the Lord so that they will come up with policies that will be beneficial to the Nation.
Lord by your grace. I will live a life of peace, as I draw a line of blood around my life, my household and all that concerns me.
I pray for a heart of honesty just as I pray that all those who are ruling will exhibit honesty too.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 6:8-10

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

Prayer

I pray that my faith will increase and I will be full of faith and power.
I ask that you use me to do wonders and miracles among the people.
My prayer is that all who come into contact with me will not be able to resist the wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit in me.
Let men and women be drawn to you through me.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Numbers 14:24

But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

Prayer

Help to follow you fully.
Give me the spirit of Caleb – another spirit, a spirit that has total faith in God, a spirit that sees only success and never failure.
Bring me into all covenant promises that you have given to me.
I wait on you in Jesus name. Amen.

Numbers 14:2

And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

Prayer

I will refuse to murmur against my God.
I pray for a heart that will believe God and know that He has always come good and he will continue to do so.

Numbers 13:31-32

But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

Prayer

I reject every evil report no matter where it comes from in Jesus name.
I refuse to see anything negative in relation to the promises of God concerning me and all that concerns my household.
I will succeed in this new year. Amen.

Numbers 13:30

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

Prayer

In this new year I will possess every land, every opening and every opportunity given to me by God. Nothing will stop me in this season by the grace of God. Amen.

Psalm 125:1

They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Prayer

I thank you father for your loving kindness.
I thank you father because you enabled me to cross over into 2011.
I trust that as you have been with me in the past you will continue to be with me.
Nothing will separate me from your name. By your grace I will abide in you forever. Amen,
