Genesis 4:4 - Let my offering be acceptable

But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favour on Abel and his offering,

Prayer

Whatever I give to you my father, let it be by faith.

Give me a heart that would want to give the best to you, a heart that would always give sacrificially.

Let me walk with the understanding that whatever I am, whatever I have is by your grace, and out of that grace I want to give O Lord.

I pray that you will look at all my offering with unending favour.

Thank you, creator of heaven and earth.

I have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Genesis 3:8 - I will not hide from you

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Prayer

Stand by me, support me, stop me LORD so I do not do anything that will cause me to hide from you.

Rather give me a heart that will welcome your presence; a heart that will be sensitive to your voice.

As I walk with you day by day, help me to yield to your voice which is there to direct, encourage and chastise me when I go wrong.

Thank you LORD. I have prayed in the name of your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Daniel 2:18-19 - Give me the secrets

That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the 

 God of heaven.

Prayer

In your mercy, give me information that will save me, give me information that will give me a leg up against those who are against me.

Speak to me O Lord in ways that I would understand. In my dreams, open visions, through the words of men, drop things in my heart, let me be sensitive to you I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Lord for at all times you always answer me. Amen.

Daniel 1:8-9 - I will not defile myself

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

Prayer

I purpose in my heart that I will not do anything or take in anything that will defile the spirit of God that lives inside of me.

Lord I ask that you help me to fulfill my desire; help me not to succumb to temptation, do not let me go back to the stuff I have given up.

Lord grant me favour in the eyes of all I come into contact with.

Let them all go the extra mile in helping me.

Thank you LORD. I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Daniel 9:9-10 - He is merciful

To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

Prayer

My Lord and my God, I thank you for your loving kindness which is borne out of your righteousness.

Despite all types of sin I have committed, you showed your love for me by sending your son Jesus Christ to die for me.

Your mercies are new every morning; great is your faithfulness, O Lord.

I am no longer a candidate for hell, my eternity is now secure in Christ Jesus.

Glory and honour to you O Lord. Amen.

Isaiah 32:18 - I will live in peace

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in 

 quiet resting places;

Prayer

From this day henceforth my home shall be peaceable; my city and my country shall be peaceable.

Every creation of God shall work for my peace and everything attempting to work contrary to the word of God will come to nothing in Jesus name. Amen.

Isaiah 30:19 - He is gracious

For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for I will enjoy peace, joy and prosperity.

Thank you because weeping will no more be heard in my home.

As you have promised whenever I cry, you will hear my voice and you will answer me.

I live in this confidence for you are a covenant keeping God.

Thank you my Lord and saviour.
