Esther 2: 9-10, 15

Esther 2:9
And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.
Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.

Prayer

Father, I ask that you order my steps towards the carrier of my favour.
Cause my favour carrier to answer me speedily.
As I meet my favour carrier, help me to be discreet about what is going on.
Let the people I contact, move fast to support me in all my endeavours.
Let me obtain favour from all you have ordained that I would meet.
Let your name be glorified. Thank you father in Jesus’ name, Amen

Ecclesiastes 2:11

Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.

Prayer

Lord, thank you for drawing my attention this day to all the things I have achieved in life, all I have acquired, the victories and all the breakthroughs.

I notice that my accomplishments will not take me to heaven, the material things that I have, I cannot take with me when you come to take me home.

I surrender to you, help my focus to be on you.

Thank you for your grace in Jesus name. Amen

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Prayer

Lord I want to know you better.
You are life itself.
I want to run away from anything that would not allow me to build a relationship with you.
I certainly do not want to be destroyed.
Please do not reject me.
Whenever I am falling out of line, pull me back father.
Do not forget me, do not forget my children.
Open up your well of knowledge unto me.
Let your name be glorified.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Lamentations 3 : 22-25

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

Prayer

Thank you for your mercies father, which have not allowed me to be consumed.
Thank you for your compassion which you have extended to me and my family.
Thank you for your faithfulness. You continue to surprise me every morning.
I have no other portion but you. My hope is rested on you.
Help me to wait on you so that you will be good to me.
Thank you for being my father, in Jesus’ name I have prayed.

Proverbs 12:18 NIV - Choice of words

Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Prayer

Today I make a choice to speak words that will bring healing to the soul, body and spirit's of all I speak to.
I ask that you remind me of this commitment whenever I am tempted to speak words that will bring pain and grief to those who hear.
I cannot do this by myself, help me father in Jesus name. Amen

Joshua 21:45 NIV

Not one of all the LORD's good promises to the house of Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.

Prayer

Father, I honour you and I bless your holy name.
I thank you because you never change and your word never falls down to the ground. Just as you fulfilled every promise in times past, I ask in the name of Jesus, fulfil all your promises to me. Amen

1 Corinthians 6 : 20

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Prayer

Thank you father for paying such a great price for me.
I surrender all I am, both body and spirit to you.
Help me to honour you in all that I do with my body, in all that I say and also in my thoughts.
Thank father in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen

Titus 2:13-15

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Prayer

Father, I look forward to when Jesus will appear again on earth, I pray that I will be one of those who will ascend into the heavens with Jesus.
I thank you for Jesus who came and took upon himself all my sins and redeemed me from the curse of the law.
He has called me for good works and I pray that I will not disappoint him.
With your covering, I will be able to speak to all who need to hear the good service. I think you for the opportunity. Amen

Titus 2:11-12

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Prayer

Thank you father for your grace that has given me my salvation.
All I have had to do is accept you as my Lord.
Your word teaches me to reject ungodliness, worldly lusts, that I should live a life wholly acceptable to you.
Help me father to do your will in Jesus name. Amen.

Titus 2:9-10

Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

Prayer

I pray that in all my endeavours I will be a good ambassador of Christ, discharging my responsibilities in a godly fashion.
I pray that I will show integrity, being honest all the time, not taking what does not belong to me.
Lord I pray that by your grace I will stand in Jesus name. Amen

Titus 2:6-8

Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Prayer

Father help me to be humble, serious when I need to be and jovial when necessary too.
I pray that I will always be a good example, a light unto the world.
I pray that I will always be a good representative of my father ensuring that those agents of the devil around will continue to fail in their attempts to put me down.
By the grace of God they will never find any evil to say concerning me in Jesus name. Amen

Titus 2:3-5

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Prayer

I know that without holiness I cannot see you.
As I desire holiness, help me to be holy.
I want my taste buds to reject wine, help me father.
Help me to teach women the right stuff, loving their husbands and children as I love my own family too.
I pray that I would become a person who does not talk too much, with the ability to keep secrets, ensuring that I must not blaspheme the word of God.
Thank you father because you always hear me, in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen

Titus 2:1-2

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Prayer

Father, give me the grace to speak your word without fear or favour.
I pray that all I ever say will be in line with your word.
Most importantly help me to consciously live the word, walking the talk.
I have to be sober, grave and temperate in all things and at all times.
Let my love for you and my neighbours wax strong, exercising patience at all times.
In this way of life that you have chosen for me, let me find joy.
Thank you for your grace that will abound over me in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 11:25-27

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Prayer

I thank you Almighty Father this day because you have chosen to open my eyes to the gospel of Christ.
You have looked upon me in your mercy and declared me one of your babes.
I deliver my life to Jesus even as God has delivered all things into his hand.
I know you are more than able to see me through.
Thank you father in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen

Romans 10:9-11

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Prayer

I open my mouth this day and confess the Lord Jesus.
I say it and I believe in my heart that Jesus was raised from the dead.
I know that I am therefore saved from death.
I receive righteousness associated with my confessing the Lord Jesus into my life.
As I confess with my mouth salvation is mine.
Thank you father because I will never be ashamed. Amen

1 Corinthians 2:16

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Prayer

Help me to know your mind .
Give me the mind of Christ.
Lord let us work together and I need your help.Amen

Acts 5:32

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Prayer

Lord, I know the importance of the Holy Ghost.
I want the Holy Ghost to run my life. Help me to obey you.
Give me the Holy Ghost I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - He is Lord

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Prayer

Help me to understand that you own me and my body.
Show me the things that I still do that defile my body.
I pray that that with your help, all that I do and think about will start to glorify you.
As I have been bought with a price, I pray that the price would not turn out to be a waste. Thank you for your patience with me, in Jesus name. Amen.

Mark 8:38

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Prayer

I thank you father and I appreciate you.
Your words are the source of my life and I know by your grace that they would continue to be so.
Lord I pray that you would continue to let me know who I am in you.
By your grace I will never be ashamed to declare that I am your child and speak on your behalf in a world that does everything to discourage this.
Father I want to partake of your glory when the time comes. I definitely do not want to suffer in hell.
Help me to stand till the end, in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen

Deuteronomy 7:9

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Prayer

Lord, I appreciate you and I give you praise.
Your words are yea and amen. You have said it and I know you will do it.
You have promised that your covenant with me and your mercy towards me is to a thousand generations.
The only proviso is that I love you and I keep your commandments.
As I promise to obey you, help me at all times. I do not want to miss out.
Thank you father in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen

Matthew 7:21- He is Lord

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Prayer

You are my Lord. Help me to enter into the kingdom of heaven.
I need to know what your will is concerning every situation. Give me the heart to search for your will. Grant me the determination to do your will after I have found it.
Thank you for your continuing grace over me and your answering my prayers in Jesus name. Amen

Philippians 2:9-11

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Prayer

Jesus, I give all glory and honour to you this day. I exalt and magnify you.
I bow down before you and I confess that you are my Lord, you own me and all that is mine.
Amen.

Romans 12:19-21

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Prayer

This morning I surrender to you father. I ask that you take vengeance on my behalf against all those who are operating under the devil against me.
Grant me the grace to continue to do good in the face of adversity.
Help me father in Jesus name. Amen.

Romans 12:17 -18

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Prayer

Sometimes I know that I hurt people and people certainly hurt me too.
Help me to surrender totally to you such that I will obey you.
It is difficult not to want to avenge hurts and perceived slights, with your grace I know I can.
Give me the grace to be at peace with all men. You are the prince of peace. Amen.

Romans 12:14-15

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Prayer

Father, it will take your grace for me not to curse those who persecute me. I have to obey you. Help me to remember that Jesus did the same.
I also pray that I will always rejoice with those who are rejoicing and I will mourn with those who mourn.
Help me to be selfless, putting others before me.
Thank you for answered prayers in Jesus name. Amen

Romans 12:13

Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

Prayer

Let the grace to give out fill my heart.
Help me to remember that I am blessed, so as to be a blessing to other people, an extension of your hand.
I pray that I will always ensure that people who come into contact with me experience hospitality indeed at all times.
Thank you for your loving kindness in Jesus name I pray. Amen

Romans 12:12

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Prayer

Lord give me the heart to pray, a heart that seeks you all the time.
When tribulation comes, help me to stand in prayer, knowing that my joy will come in the morning.
In good times, let me remember to praise you too.
Let rejoicing fill my heart in the hope that what you did for me on the cross has given me victory over all things.
Thank you again for the guarantee of victory no matter what happens. Amen

Romans 12:11

Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

Prayer

Lord help me as I start to number my days, not allowing time to be frittered away.
Help me to be diligent in everything I lay my hands upon, faithful to the end in all assignments.
I do not want to be a passerby in life.
Grant me a fervent spirit that takes the things of God seriously, and working on the premise that it is better to serve than waiting to be served.
Thank you father for I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen

Romans 12:9-10

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Prayer

Father, I ask that you teach me genuine love, like the love of Jesus Christ for me.
Give me a heart that hates everything that is associated with evil. On the other hand, let me hold on to things that are good, wanting to be good, all the time.
Help me to have a kind of love that exists within family members with the people around me, knowing that Jesus Christ has made us one big family.
Help me to be able to do this father, in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen

Romans 12:6-8

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Prayer

Lord I know you could not have brought me into the world without bestowing me with gifts to see me through my journey of life.
Help me to identify my gifts.
Teach me how to use my gifts and importantly when to use them.
I want to be a blessing to the world for your name and your name alone to be glorified.
Thank you father for all you have given unto me. Amen
