Nehemiah 12:43 - I rejoice

That day they offered a large number of sacrifices, and they rejoiced, because God had caused them to rejoice enthusiastically. Their wives and children rejoiced, so that Jerusalem's joy was heard from a long distance.

Prayer

I offer a sacrifice of praise today. I rejoice in God my saviour because you have done great things for me.
My joy is full, I am free, I am alive, all in my family rejoice.
Glory be to God.
Lord I pray you will continually cause my joy to be heard far and wide from this day in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

2 Chronicles 34:27 - Help me to humble myself

"Because your heart was sensitive, and you humbled yourself before God when you heard what he had to say about this place and its inhabitants—indeed, because you humbled yourself before me, tore your clothes, and cried out to me, I have heard you," declares the LORD.

Prayer

Help me to be sensitive and I want to be humble too, I ask that any pride and arrogance I have or might have die completely in Jesus name.
Help me to be attentive too to what you are saying to me or what you are doing around me.
You are a God that answers prayers, hear all my prayers, father in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen.

Psalm 14:1 - God is real

Fools say to themselves, "There is no God." They are corrupt and commit evil deeds; not one of them practices what is good.

Prayer

Thank you for your grace that has enabled me know that you are God.
I look around and I see the works of your hand.
Thank you for the things you are doing that I don’t know.
Let your name be glorified forever, Amen.

2 Samuel a 22:35 - The man of war

He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

Prayer

Thank you for teaching my hands to war. I pray that my heart will continue to receive all you are doing to ensure I turn out right.
Thank you for grace, wisdom and the word.
Glory be to God on high.

2 Samuel 22:34 - I am set on high

He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.

Prayer

Thank you for giving me feet like hind’s feet, enabling me to run away from evil and also to take the battle to the enemy where necessary.
I thank you because with my feet I can run to obey you and be the best “me” you want me to be.
Thank you for setting me upon my high places, far above where darts from the enemy cannot get to, in Christ Jesus.
Father I appreciate you. Amen.

2 Samuel 22:33 - My strength

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

Prayer

Thank you God for being my strength and power.
Thank you for being there at all times seeing me through day by day and minute by minute.
Thank you for going before me and making crooked paths straight, you are beautiful and wonderful.
I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

2 Samuel 22:32 - My Rock

For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?

Prayer

Thank you for being my God, dependable, unshakeable and faithful.
There is no other God but you, you are my security, my shield and buckler.
All other gods are made by man and powerless.
Glory and power to your name, Amen.

2 Samuel 22:31 - He is perfect

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

Prayer

I give you praise for you are perfect. You are Alpha and Omega, all you have said has always and will continue to come to pass.
Men have tried to discredit your word but they have failed.
Thank you for you are my shield and support.
Help me as I want to put all my trust in you.
Thank you father in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

John 6:44 - He drew me to himself

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Prayer

In the past I thought I was okay with life. Thank you for knocking on the door of my heart.
Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to me. Thank you for your grace in action enabling me to receive Jesus Christ.
I worship and adore you. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

2 Samuel 22:29-30 - My lamp

For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Prayer

Thank you for being my lamp and for lightening every darkness around me.
Oh I thank you for victory on every side and helping me overcome all barriers and impediments along the way.
All glory and honour to your holy name. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 I will walk worthy

As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

Prayer

Thank you father for all my pastors, all who I have been privileged to listen to and all who have taught me your precepts.
Help me as I walk worthy of you, as I try to be a light to the world and salt on the earth.
Let your name be glorified in all that I say and do in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Samuel 12:24 - Reverential fear of God

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Prayer

Help me to understand and appreciate you for what you are: the Almighty God.
Help me as I want to live in reverential fear of you O God.
Yes I want to serve with you without hypocrisy, help me to serve with all my heart.
Thank you as I remember the things you have done in the past, what you are doing at the moment, and what you will do in the future.
Thank you my Lord and my God. I have prayed in the name of Jesus. Amen

Isaiah 46:11 - He will bring it to pass

Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Prayer

Thank you father for your word always comes to pass.
All you have said concerning me, put in the heart of my miracle carrier to execute speedily in Jesus name. Amen

Exodus 33:13-14 - Thank you for favor

Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you in order to find favor in your sight. Consider too that this nation is your people."
And he said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

Prayer

Show me how to find favor in your sight. As you teach me help me to maintain what I am learning.
I also ask that you show me your ways, my father and my God so that I will do as you do in every area.
Thank you for the assurance that as I take steps of faith, your presence will go with me, I will have peace and I will be comforted.
Thank you for rest from battles and from every device from the enemy meant to slow me down.
I have prayed in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Job 1:22 - God can do no wrong

In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.

Prayer

I pray that in all situations I go through I will not blaspheme God. At such times, help me to think before I speak, help me to remember that your thoughts towards me are of good and not of evil.

Jeremiah 1:19 - He is with me

They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the LORD, to deliver you."

Prayer

Yes they will gang up, they will gather, but because you are my defence they will fail in the name of Jesus.
Thank you Lion of the tribe of Judah, thank you Man of war for seeing me through every battle.
You are worthy to be praised. Amen.

Jeremiah 1:18 - I am a fortified city.

Jeremiah 1:18
And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land.

Prayer

Thank you father for you have fortified me.
You are a wall of fire around me.
The angelic hosts of heaven are around me, fighting on my behalf.
The blood of Jesus continues to speak for me.
The agents of the enemy are in disarray, all arrows from them are returned to sender.
Thank you for divine protection. I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus.

Jeremiah 1:12 - His word will always come to pass

Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it."

Prayer

Thank you father for the grace to “see well”.
Help me to develop my spiritual eyes so as to see the things of the spirit.
Thank you Lord, you are so particular about what you say, that you watch over it and ensure it comes to pass.
You are good and kind. I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen

Jeremiah 1:9-10 - Words of life

Then the LORD put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said to me, "Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant."

Prayer

Thank you for the words you have put in my mouth.
Words that will build lives and promote destiny, words that will plant the seeds of greatness.
Thank you also for the words that would destroy and overthrow evil plans from the enemy.
Thank you for setting me over nations and kingdoms.
Glory and honour to your name.
Thank you father in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen.

Jeremiah 1:8 - I am not afraid

Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the LORD."

Prayer

Thank you father for your assurance; you who have magnified your word above all things.
I will not be afraid because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
Thank you because I am delivered from every limitation.
I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Nehemiah 9:5-6 - Almighty God

O may Your glorious name be blessed and exalted above all blessing and praise! You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, the heaven of heavens with all their host.
The earth and all that is on it. The seas and all that is in them.
You give life to all of them, and the heavenly host bows down before You.

Prayer

Almighty God. I join the hosts of heaven in bowing down before you. Glory and honour to your holy name.
Creator of the heavens and the earth, there is nothing you cannot do.
I ask that you do something new, something wonderful in my life this day.

Hebrews 8:10 - Covenant God

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Prayer

Thank you for the new and better covenant.
Thank you for putting your laws into my mind and writing them in my heart.
Help me to retain in my mind the laws you have put there.
I pray that nothing will wipe these laws away from my heart.
Help me as I live within these laws.
Thank you for being my God and also for allowing me to be a member of your big family.

Psalm 119:130 - Light from the word

The entrance of thy words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.

Prayer

Help me as I open up my spirit to receive your words.
Let your words give light that will blow away darkness and lead me every step of my life.
As there are areas that are not clear sometimes, let my interaction with your word give me understanding.
Thank you father, I have prayed in the beautiful name of Jesus. Amen.

Acts 10:38 - Freedom in Jesus

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Prayer

Thank you for sending your son Jesus to the earth.
Thank you for anointing Jesus for his tasks on earth.
I appreciate you for giving me the grace to partake of what Jesus came to do here on earth, receiving my freedom and spreading the good news of Jesus.
As Jesus is alive in me and in all who have received him, I pray freedom for all who are oppressed of the devil.
As you were with Jesus while he was here physically, be with my brothers and sisters in Christ, be with me too, let your name be glorified.
Thank you my Lord and my God, I have prayed in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Genesis 1:28 - I am blessed

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Prayer

Thank you for all the blessings, the abilities you have placed inside of me, the opportunities that you have brought my way and the new ones that present themselves daily.
Oh you who daily load me with benefits, I worship you.
I thank you for making me fruitful. I thank you for placing me in charge.
Lord I give you praise, I have this day prayed in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

1 Kings 22:22 - No lying spirit

And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

Prayer

There are lying spirits about, be they prophets or lay men.
Lord grant me a discerning spirit to know the truth that will set me free.
Help me to maintain my stand in you, refusing to take the easy option by lying and identifying with the father of all lies.
Thank you my Lord and saviour, in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen.

James 4:4 - Friend of God

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Prayer

I certainly do not want to be counted as your enemy O God.
My father and my God, I am your child and I am in your camp. I identify with you.
Just as you called Abraham and Moses your friend’s, help me to walk towards that high calling.
As I make a decision to please you rather than the world, I ask for your leading, I ask for your help.
Thank you father, I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Matthew 8:17 - He took our illnesses

This was to fulfill what was spoken by theprophet Isaiah: 'He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.'

Prayer

Thank you for fulfilling your promise. You have indeed taken away our illnesses, both spiritual and physical, you put them on your own sinless body and nailed them on the cross of Calvary.
Thank you for I know I am free.
LORD I worship you. I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.
