Isaiah 45:23 - He has sworn

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Prayer

Thank you for the certainty of your word concerning me.
You have spoken, nothing, no one can change it.
I surrender totally to you, I receive Christ as my Lord and by your grace I will do as he says all the time.
Thank you for the safety in surrender to you.
Help me, I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Leviticus 6:13 - My altar will work for me

The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

Prayer

Help me to create an altar in my heart for you.
Create in me a hunger and a desire to come to the altar always.
Just as your love for me is unending and unquenchable, let my love for you be unquenchable.
My altar must never be empty. Show me how and what to bring to my altar.
Let all I bring be acceptable to you in Jesus name. Amen.

Hebrews 6:18 - My hope is heaven

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Prayer

Thank you for the fact that you cannot lie.

You are God and there is none like you.

You have said that if I believe I will have eternal life.

I believe; that is my hope.

Thank you for the assurance.

I have prayed in the beautiful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Psalm 102:17 - He is attentive

For the Eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His Ears are attentive to their prayer

Prayer

Thank you father for you will not turn away from my prayers.
Thank you for the fact that when you look at me, you remember the work of your son on the cross and you see him seated in the heavens interceding for me.
Thank you for the comfort you have given me today. Amen.

Hosea 6:3 - Rain on me

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Prayer

I want to know you for I am thirsty. Fill me till I thirst no more.
Draw me close to you, my father.
As light always overcomes darkness every morning, let your rain fall all over me every morning.
Let my field be fertilised day by day O Lord.
Thank you my faithful father. I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.
