John 15:9-14

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Prayer

Thank you for loving me. Help me to stay in the love you have for me.

Loving you is obeying you. Let my heart be all about obeying you.

I need to continue to remember that in obedience to you, my joy will be full.

Help me to focus on loving my neighbour no matter the circumstances, remembering that you loved me when I was living a life of sin outside of you. You loved me so much you caused your son, Jesus to die for me.

I want you to continue to call me your friend. Pour the spirit of love all over me.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

John 15:1-8 - The True Vine

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Prayer

Lord, I thank you because you are the true vine, the source of my life. I am humbled that you have enabled me to be a part of you. I know that you want me to be like you.
I ask that anything in me that is not fruitful, take away from me. I do not want bad habits or way of life to overcome the good that is in me.
In areas where I have started to grow and develop, let your Spirit purge and make me better. Let your word continually be a cleansing balm in me.
Without you I am nothing. Let that fact never depart from me. Continually let your life flow through me. Help me to be fruitful.
I do not want to be alone without you. I do not want to end up in the fire.
As I work on abiding in you by grace, let your words never leave me or forsake you.
Be glorified in the heavens.
Thank you, father, Jesus name. Amen

James 4:3

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Prayer

Father, I want you to teach me how to pray so that at all times when I come to you, I would always receive what I ask for.

I do not want my time in prayer to be a waste of time.

I ask that you take away selfishness from me.

Take pride away from me as it is a barrier in my prayer life.

Show me how to ask for stuff that will bring glory to your name alone.

Purify me and my intentions O Lord.

Help me to connect to your will. Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Prayer

Lord, I want to please you. I want to make you happy.

I need to remember you are my source, that is why I must always come to you.

To get an audience with you, father I believe you are God Almighty, you are who you say you are, you are what you say you are. You are my all in all.

Today I seek you with all my heart, I apply diligence to my search for you as I ask for your touch in the name of Jesus. I know without you I cannot do anything.

Let me experience your peace. Amen

Psalm 68:1-3

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

Prayer

Arise O Lord, let my enemies be scattered. Let all those who are after me, start running away before you.

Just like wax melts before fire, cause all my enemies to perish at your presence.

I ask that your joy feel my heart. Grant me your righteousness. Thank you in Jesus name. Amen

Isaiah 64:1-4

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Prayer

Father,come down from heaven, tear the heavens down on my behalf, show yourself strong in my situation.

Let the world know, let the heavens know, let the elements know, that you have appeared to unmake all negatives that have been made against me.

I pray this day that you would do the supernatural for me.

I know you are supernatural and you have done things that have confounded the enemy in the past.

Now is the time to surprise me as I have waited for your intervention. Thank you father as you always hear me, in Jesus name. Amen

1 Kings 18:24 - Answer by fire

And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

Prayer

Lord, the devil and his agents are trying me in some areas of my life.

Today I draw the line of battle.

You who sacrificed your son for me, come down now. Show up and do not let me be ashamed.

Answer me by fire and let every agent of the devil operating against me and all that is mine be destroyed in Jesus name. Amen.

Romans 8:36-39

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prayer

At this present time, many are facing persecution in one form or the other. I pray that because of what you did on the cross of cavalry you will see all of us through.

I thank you for the love you have showered over me that has allowed me to conquer all that the enemy has sent my way.

I am also convinced that by your grace that abounds over me I will never be separated from your love.

Romans 8:33-35

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Prayer

Lord, I thank you because you have chosen me as your elect.

I am so blessed because no one, physical or spiritual can pin anything on me. You have declared me, not guilty.

You died because of me and you rose up from the dead. You are at the right hand of God interceding on my behalf. I am not forgotten.

You are the judge, you are also my advocate. There is no better position to be in. All glory to you, father.

By your grace, nothing shall separate me from your love. . The devil and his antics will not separate me from your love. You are love and I know you do not want me to perish.

By your grace, my relationship with you will grow from strength to strength.

Romans 8:31 -32

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Prayer

Father, the more I think about all you have done for me, the more I appreciate you.

As I know you are with me, I know my victory over every agent of the devil is assured.

I know that all I need you will give me.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Romans 8:29 -30

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Prayer

Father, with my whole heart, I thank you. You knew me before I was born, you know my destiny.

You loved me so much that you want me to conform to the image of your son. You want me to do as Christ did, to talk as he talked and to impact the world as he did. I certainly need your help. I can’t do this in my power.

Help me to bring glory to Christ and not shame.

I appreciate your call on my life, and I thank you for what you did on cavalry. I thank you because my sins have been paid for and for your glory in my life. Amen.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Prayer

Father, I thank you because you are the master planner.

You orchestrate all things for my benefit.

Help me, teach me to love you with all my heart.

By your grace you have called me for your purpose, help me not to fall by the wayside.

Romans 8:26-27

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Prayer

Father, thank you for your Spirit that helps me with my weaknesses.

I am meant to know what and how to pray, but I am just a human being, so sometimes I am confused. My faith fails me in such situations.

Thank you for your Spirit that helps me to pray when I need to.

Thank you again for the Spirit that searches my heart, and finds out what I need and then intercedes on my behalf according to the will of God, thereby ensuring that my prayers are not amiss.

Lord, you are just too good. Amen

Romans 8:18

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Prayer

Father, I thank you for the total package that comes with my salvation. I know that I am going through a lot of challenges which sometimes feels to me like I am suffering because I am a Christian.

I thank you so much because of your promise that my tomorrow will be better than my today.

I pray that your glory be revealed in me. Let your glory come out from inside of me, such that whole world would instantly know that you inhabit inside of me.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Romans 8:14-17

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Prayer

Father as I submit willingly to you, I ask for grace to follow your leading and guidance all the time.
I reject every spirit of bondage, every thoughts of fear and failure that come my way.
I receive the Spirit of adoption. I accept the fact that I am now your child, therefore I am your heir. All you have is now mine.
As Jesus suffered on earth, I know that times of tribulation will come, help me to be prepared.
I know that as Jesus is glorified in heaven, I will also make heaven by your grace.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Romans 8: 3 -13

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Prayer

Father, thank you for sending Jesus who knew no sin to die in my place, so that the law will be fulfilled.

To benefit from the death of Jesus, I have to follow after the Spirit and not after my flesh.

Help me greatly in this area. I do not want to die, I want to live eternally. My flesh always wants to do things independent of you.

I know I have to please you continually. I want your Spirit to live inside of me.
My body has to be subject to you from this moment, I cannot do this by myself.

Let your Spirit raise a fire in me to focus my mind to righteous living. Help me to live O Lord.

Thank you for your grace in Jesus name, Amen

Romans 8:2

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Prayer

Thank you for the law that that has freed me from the law of sin and death.

I am no longer guilty of the sins I committed. Thank you because sin has no power over me.

I now have the Spirit of life in Christ. Help me to be more Christ minded.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Prayer

Father I thank you this morning because I am in you, I am not condemned for anything I have done, I am pronounced not guilty.

As I remain in you, help me to walk after your spirit in me and not after my sinful flesh.

Teach me to listen and do what the spirit tells me to do.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 62:11

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

Prayer

Father I thank you this day for who you are.

I thank you because you have spoken to me.

I thank you because you have given me the grace to hear, not once but twice.

I thank you because all power belongs to you.

There is power in no other but you. You do as you please. The devil is under your feet.

Lord, I bow before you. Show up in my life with all your power.

Let your name be glorified.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Matthew 2:13

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

Prayer

Lord, send angels to me in my dream.

Let my dreams be clear, let me remember my dreams, give me the grace to interpret my dreams and help me to do something about them.

Reveal the plans of my enemies to me so I will take evasive action.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 6:7

And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Prayer

Lord, help me to put my life in order. Help me to put first things first.

Help me to do the things that will cause your word to increase in my life, complete focus on you and a life of study of the word.

As the word increases in me, let the people who come into contact with me or see me accept you as Lord.

Let there be great multiplication in my nation as a result of the word becoming life in me.

I pray that all who have served other lesser gods in the past will also come to you as a result of the light that will shine in me.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Proverbs 24:10 - Challenges will not discourage me

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

Prayer

Lord, yes when things are ok, I am happy.

Sometimes things happen that I cannot bear, I feel despondent and troubled. I sometimes forget that all power belongs to you, my father.

Help me to remember always that the devil will always try your children until you come down to bind him for a thousand years.

I do not want to be classified as somebody who cannot face challenges.

I need your help. Hear my cry this morning. Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

John 8:12 - Light of the world

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Prayer

Lord thank you for being the light of the world.

Thank you father because where ever you are and in whoever you are, darkness cannot exist.

Help me to follow you, as there are many fake lights.

I pray that your light will illuminate my life and I will be a light to the world too.

Thank you as I stay in your light, I will have eternal life. Amen

Isaiah 40:29

He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.

Prayer

Father, I am weak in every area, both physically and spiritually.

I come to you because I know that all power belongs to you.

The challenges come and they are sometimes overwhelming. I want to derive my power and strength from you.

Thank you because you are willing to give me part of you.

Lord I receive power to stand against every wiles of the devil. I receive strength to become who you have ordained me to be.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

John 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Prayer

I thank you father for sending your son Jesus to die for my sins. Jesus who is the son of God knew no sin and humbled himself for my sake and took up all my sin.

Lord, help me to follow the example of Jesus. Help me to understand your will for my life, so that with your help I will do your bidding.

Help me to drop every thing in my life that will not allow me to humble myself before you.

I do not want to abide alone, I do not want to be a waste of space.

I want your investment in me to bear much fruit. Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Acts 5:19

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

Prayer

Lord, as the hosts of heaven report to you, I ask that you order your angel to release me from every prison, known and unknown the devil has placed me in.

Just as the prison doors opened miraculously for the apostles, let every door shut against me be opened immediately.

Let every invisible shackle on my legs and hands drop off into the sea.

As the doors open, I walk into my freedom and my break through. Thank you father. Amen

Psalm 55:9

Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

Prayer

Lord, there is a spiritual gang up against me and my destiny. They are doing violence against me and there is continuous strife.

You are the Lord of the hosts of heaven. I ask that you rain down destruction over all you are gathering against me.

Turn their hearts against one another, let them not be united any longer and divide their tongues. Let them not understand themselves from this moment.

Daniel 11:32b

... but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Prayer

Lord, I pray that my ears would hear you, my eyes would see you and my heart will know you.
I pray that with my knowing you, I would resist the devil and be strong. Help me not to yield to the demands of the devil and his agents.
I also pray I would be able to do great things for you, touching lives and being an agent of deliverance for the oppressed.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

2 Timothy 4:18

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom.

Prayer

Father, thank you for your promise to deliver me from every work.

Lord, there are works that are obvious to me that are been done against me by the devil and his agents.

There have been works that have also been done that I was not wise enough to understand that it was the devil at work.

You have said that I should ask until my joy is full.

Father, from today let there be no traces of the work of the devil over me, my family, my work, my business, my job, my ministry and my calling.

Let me experience total freedom.

Lord, build a hedge round about me, such that evil works will not derail me on my path to heaven.

Thank you father. Amen.

Deuteronomy 30:19

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Prayer

Lord, I thank you this day because you are my father, and a good one too.
I thank you because you have set before two choices. You gave me a mind of my own. You have not made me a robot.
Father I appreciate the fact that you do not want me to make a wrong choice and go to hell. You have encouraged me to choose life and follow you. Yes I want to live and all my seed.
I have made a choice to live today. Let me never depart from this path. Do not leave me alone.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 5:10

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Prayer

Your word tells me that if you were persecuted, then I will be persecuted.

I pray that the fear of persecution will not lead me to do anything that will be against my beliefs.

Thank you for the fact that whatever it is that I suffer, I know you are there with me and at the end of the day, I am going to heaven. Amen
