Psalm 141:3 - Put a lock on my mouth

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Prayer

I ask that you stop me from uttering words that I will regret; words that would come back to haunt me.

Help me for I can’t do this by myself.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

1 Corinthians 15: 56-57 - Victory through Jesus Christ

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Without the law there is no sin. Jesus has fulfilled the law of sin and death.

Thank you God because Jesus has given me victory over sin. I was destined for death, but you took my place. Amen

Deuteronomy 1:6

The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:

Prayer

I rise up and move forward as you have instructed.

I put stagnation behind me; I put going round in circles behind me from now onwards in Jesus name. Amen.

Jeremiah 31:33 - He is my God

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Prayer

Help me to relate and react positively to the law you have put in my heart.

Help me to live by what you have put in my heart.

Thank you for the new covenant of grace which has replaced the old one of sin and death.

Thank you for accepting me as I am; and for you graciously being my God. Amen

Romans 6:12 - Break the hold of sin

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Prayer

I ask for the grace to live a holy life, acceptable unto you in Jesus name.

I pray that sin will not dominate me. Rather let every lust die in Jesus name, Amen
