Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Prayer

Lord, help me to remember that you are the prince of peace.

Help me to remember always that you are my father and I have to behave as you behave.

You have said that I should keep the peace with all men, let this be my watchword O Lord. I want the character I exhibit to identify me as your child.

Thank father in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Prayer

Lord, the essence of my life is to know you, to see you and to experience your presence.

Your word tells me that I cannot come into your presence without clean hands.

Today I pray that every unholiness or impurity in my heart be washed away by the blood of Jesus.

I pray that all my thoughts and my deeds are pure from now in Jesus name.

I certainly need every help I can get from you, what with all that go on around me.

Father, I know that as I desire purity you will help me. Amen

Matthew 5:7

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Prayer

I know that I am saved from going to hell, because you have had mercy on me.

Lord as I show mercy to those who offend me, show me mercy as I need your mercy to abound all over me.

Help me to develop a heart of compassion on the weak, the poor, the needy and those who do not yet know you.

Help me to take a further step and help them with every resource you have given me.

Father I pray that as I show mercy to people that come my way, you will send those who will have mercy on me when I am in need.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 5:6

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Prayer

I am desperate for righteousness. Show me the way father. Your word says that he who does right is righteous. Father give me a heart that knows what is right and what is wrong and let me make the right choice all the time.

Your righteousness is more important because when I have it, all other things will be added unto me.

I am hungry for your righteousness, fill continuously. Amen

Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Prayer

I want to accept you father and all you do without question. Father my will sometimes leads me to question your sovereignty over me. This must stop, Show me how father.

Jesus was so meek that all the things he said came from you, I want to be like Jesus.

Provocation is certain to come my way, help me to react in the good day.

Meekness can only come from you. Give me meekness O Lord.

As I work in meekness, let the world be my oyster. Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 5:4

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Prayer

Father, give me a heart to mourn when I sin, a heart to run to you in repentance as soon as I realise I have sinned.
Lord I know you hate sin, help me to hate the sin in the world around me, I want to do something about it. Help me father. Thank you for the work of the comforter, the Holy Ghost. Amen

Matthew 5:3

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Prayer

Jesus Christ himself was poor in spirit, help me to be like Jesus.
As I want to make it to the kingdom of heaven, I want you to help me to be humble.
I acknowledge that without you I cannot do anything, you are the all in all.
I do not depend on my own power or self righteousness; help me to be totally dependent on you for my existence.
Let your grace abound towards me. Thank you father in Jesus name.

Psalm 34:1-4

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Prayer

Father I bless this you this day. I thank you because I continually have cause to praise your name.
I look back at the things you do for me that I am not physically aware of, the things you do that I see, Lord I cannot but praise your name.
When I think of your goodness and all you have done, your soul shouts halleluyah to you.
I boast about you to all who hear you. Your Almightiness amazes me.
I thank you because you always hear me whenever I call on you. You have not left me comfortless. I lift your name on high. Amen

Colossians 2:14

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Prayer

Father I want to thank you for what you did for me.
You have cancelled every law I could not have kept. The laws were too many and I could not have kept them all.
You have removed the law of sin and death because you have died in my place. You nailed all these laws with you when you died on the cross of calvary. I am now free because of what you did over 2000 years ago.
Therefore every accusation, every judgement discussed or passed against me, by my enemy the devil and his agents, I mail them on the cross of calvary. Amen

Ephesians 6:10

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Prayer

Father, I ask for your strength to come upon me today. I know that the power to fight every opposition can only come from you.

Teach me how to fight unseen enemies, give me the weapons to fight them with, I do not have any power of my own.

I know you have never lost any battle. I know that your angels with me are greater than those who are with the world.

Thank you for the assurance of victory in Jesus name. Amen

John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Prayer

Today, I want to start by thanking you for finding me worthy to receive a promise from you.

I ask for your promise to be fulfilled today in the name of Jesus.

I need the Comforter in my day to day activities, let the Holy Ghost teach me everything I need to know, both for myself, so that I can fulfil my destiny and also for the people you are bringing my way so I can teach them.

Father, please release wisdom, knowledge and understanding into me.
Everything you tell me is for a purpose, help me to remember when it is needed.

I know with you leading me I cannot fail. Amen

Philippians 2:5-8

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Prayer

Father I pray that I would have the same type of mind that Jesus had.
As powerful as Jesus was, he emptied himself of such powers and he came to the earth to serve mankind.
Every power I think I have, every pride, I surrender at your feet today. Your word says that the humble inherit the kingdom. As Jesus lowered himself and served humanity, I pray that that spirit of service will be stirred up in me now in Jesus name.
As Jesus was obedient even unto death, help me to be obedient to you.
Thank you for hearing me in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 26:41

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Prayer

Thank you father because of your love for me.

I know I have to be watchful because the devil is out to steal, kill and destroy.

As you taught the disciples, teach me how to pray.

You have said, when I come to you through Jesus, you will answer me.

Help me so that I do not fall into the temptation from the devil. Father, grant me the spirit to discern right from wrong.

As I pray, I want to be able to tarry in the place of prayer. Keep me awake when I need to pray. I ask that you continue to uphold me when I am weak.

Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Romans 12 :1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Prayer

Father, help me to do as you want. I want you to be happy with me.
Help me to be focused on living a holy life, and as I keep my body and my thoughts pure daily by your grace, be my Lord and Master.

I pray that what is out there in the world would not entice me, help me to live my life based on my new self after becoming your child.

I ask that the old nature that I had before accepting you as my Lord never come back.

Everyday as I seek a closer relationship with you, let me mind be renewed.

Help me to recognise your will for my life and let me walk in that knowledge.

Lord I have asked for a lot today, thank you because I know you have heard me and you always answer me. Amen

Amos 3:3

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Prayer

My father, I thank you for allowing me to be your child.
Lord, I know to walk with you, to enjoy the benefits of being your child, a joint heir with Christ, I have to agree with your thoughts for me, agree with your plans for me, agree that your commandments have to be obeyrd and importantly to do them all.

I see your word tells me in Leviticus 26:23-24 that if I walk contrary to you, you will walk contrary to me and punish me seven times for my sins.

Lord, help me today as I agree to do your will in every area and at all times.

Thank you for walking with me and not casting me away. Amen.

Proverbs 16:7 - Pleasing God

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Prayer

Father, I ask today that you give me a heart that desires to please you.
Lord, help me to live a life that is all about giving you delight in my actions, where I go, my thoughts and the words I speak.
Father I know the heart of the king is in your hands, Lord as I start to please you, cause my enemies to start to favour me. I know that with you all things are possible.
Make it impossible for my enemies to rise up against me as you did with Saul and the early Christians.
Let me have peace on every side. Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

James 1:12

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Prayer

Father, it is interesting that when things that are not so good happen to me and I do not murmur against you, there is a blessing at the end of it.
Help me to endure affliction, persecution, pain, things the enemy will always bring my way, knowing that as I battle through without speaking or thinking bad thoughts against you, the crown of life is coming my way.
I ask for the Holy Spirit to enable me to love you unconditionally.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Genesis 28:15

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

Prayer

Thank you father because your words give me confidence. I rest on your words that tell me that you are with me.
Wherever I am, wherever I am going, whoever is pursuing me, just as Esau was pursuing Jacob, you are with me.
Thank you because I know you will fulfil every promise you have given to me, you will take with with your righteous right hand and bring me into the place you have given unto me.
I thank you because you will not leave me, you will not forsake me. Amen

1 John 2: 20 - 25

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

Prayer

Father I thank you for the anointing that You have given me that enables me to know all things about Jesus. I thank you for this grace, I have not worked for it, it has been given to me.
I also thank you today because the truth has been exposed to me, the truth is real and there is no lie in the truth.
I thank you because I know that anybody that denies Jesus is the Christ is antichrist, that person denies the father and the son.
Father, today I acknowledge that Jesus is the son of God.
I pray today that all that I have learnt will remain in me, nothing will take them away. I pray today that I will remain in you and you will remain in me. Your Spirit will also help me to continue in you.
I pray that I will not miss your promise eternal freedom.

Colossians 1:12 - 14

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Prayer

Thank you father for the grace you have shown to me, by letting your son Jesus die in my place.
I can now call you father because of what you have given to me. I am now a joint heir with Jesus.
Thank you because you have delivered me from the power of darkness, the power of sin over me. I am no longer a slave of satan, I am now a child of God. I have being moved into the kingdom of light.
Father I thank you because my life has been paid for by the blood, Jesus shed on the cross of cavalry. All my sins are forgiven. Thank you again. Amen

Colossians 1: 9 - 11

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Prayer

Father I want to know your will so I will be able to do it.
Grant me wisdom and knowledge to be able to apply what you tell me all the time
I want to be a good child, help me to walk worthy of you, such that you will identify with me. As Jesus Christ pleased you, grant me the grace to please you.
I want to be fruitful all the time, let me be of benefit to mankind. Let my knowledge of you increase all the time.
Strengthen me daily with your power to be able to continue to do good, to be able to withstand the devil.
As I go through life, help me to develop patience, let me be able to count it all joy as tribulation comes my way.

Deuteronomy 23:14

For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.

Prayer

Lord I ask that you visit me, my life, my family and all that I am.
Deliver me with a mighty hand from every enemy surrounding me.
Give my enemies to me, subdue them as they have to be under my feet.
As you walk within my camp, help me to be holy just as you are holy. Let your blood wash away every unclean thing in and around me.
Do not turn away from me. Thank you for your loving kindness. Amen

John 8:44

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Prayer

This day, I cancel every association with the devil.
Father, there are certain things I still struggle with, help me to overcome them.
The lusts of the eyes, flesh, secret pride in my achievements, I am sometimes envious of other people, other people’s children compared to mine, I keep malice with people.
When I kill people with my mouth or my eyes, I now see I am associating with the devil. When I tell that little lie, I am doing what satan did in the garden of eden, he was punished, therefore I am only bringing punishment upon myself.
When I lie, I am only telling you I belong to the devil.
Thank you because your death on the cross has paid the supreme price for me.
Father with my new understanding I ask for forgiveness for all those things I have continued to do either in ignorance or of my own free will.
Help me to make the right choices, let my conscience prick me when I am about to do the wrong thing. Amen

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Prayer

Lord, I want your word to impact me stronger all the time. Every time I read or hear your word, let it envelope me and propel me quickly towards my destiny.
Let the power in your word, cause everything dead in me to be alive, every weakness to receive strength, every barrier to be fall down flat.
For the word to change me, let it reach the innermost parts of my being like a sword cutting away my original belief system that is not based on trusting you.
Lord at times the truth of your word hurts, but help me to start to accept that it is for my good. Amen

Exodus 23: 22-25

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Prayer

Lord I see your promise to be an enemy to my enemies is based on the condition that I obey your voice and do all that you speak.
I do not want to miss out on the victory laid out before me. I need to make the right choices. Help me.
I am surrounded by enemies, known and unknown. As I step into the place you have prepared for me, cut off every agent of the enemy standing between me and my blessing.
I know I must have nothing to do with the cares of this world, father sometimes they are tempting, but I ask that the spirit of discernment of good and evil be in me.
Lord help me to be a vessel in your hands destroying the works of the devil in these times wherever I find them.
I promise to serve you with all my heart in whatever capacity you want me to.
Thank you as you bless what I do, knowing that it will be sufficient for me.
I also thank you for freedom from sickness for me and my family. Amen

Exodus 23: 20 – 21

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

Prayer

Thank you father as you have sent an angel before me to keep me in the way of life and to bring me to the place where you have prepared.
I pray this day that I will get to that place which is heaven.
On my way to heaven I pray that I will fulfil my purpose here on earth. Every station in life where I am meant to get to I will achieve with the help of the angel you have assigned to me.
I see that I have to be observant of all the angel tells me, so as to obey his voice. Let me be sensitive o Lord. Help me to walk in line.
Sometimes when I make mistakes let me realise them immediately and come back to you in repentance. Forgive me in all such cases. Let your mercy prevail.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen

Zechariah 2:4 - 5

And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Prayer

Father, thank you because from today, I will live like a town that has no boundaries.
My increase will know no end. I will multiply on every side.
I will be fruitful. Whatever I lay my hands on will prosper as you have said.
My wife/husband will increase, my children will increase, my business will experience supernatural increase. On my job, I will be elevated continually.
There is no wall that will limit my progress in life.
As I do not have any borders, the Lord himself will be a wall of fire round me.
The fire of God around me will make me too hot to handle by the devil. Your glory will shine upon me. Amen

2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Prayer

Father, I thank you today because I know your eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth.
I thank you as I know that there is nothing that is happening to me that you do not know about. There is nothing the enemy is planning that you are not aware of. Indeed you are Almighty. You know the beginning and the end.
I thank you because you have made the devil aware that I am your child, and where I am concerned you come down like a ton of bricks on all the agents of the devil.
I pray father that my heart will be perfect towards you.
I am totally dependent on you.
Help me as I will not look unto man for help, I know you are more than able to see me through all that come my way.
I am aware that if I look elsewhere, turbulence and wars I cannot win will engulf me.
Help me as I walk on the straight and narrow path. Amen
