2 Kings 7:6 - A noise of terror

For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

Prayer

As you are the Lord of hosts, I ask that you cause a noise to be made in the heavens.
Let every agent of the enemy hear the noise; let them scamper away in confusion never to gather again against your children.
Thank you father for the victory in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

2 Kings 6:15-17 - Let there be fire around me

When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?"
He said, "Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see." So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Prayer

I ask that you surround me and all that is mine with an army of angels now.
Let chariots of fire surround me, protecting me and making it impossible for the enemy to get at me.
Thank you for the assurance that those who are with me are more than those who are against me.
You are a good God. I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

1 Kings 17:14 - Divine Provision

For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

Prayer

Thank you for your provision.
I thank you because by your grace that which you have provided for me will not run out until the carriers of my new blessings locate me and it is delivered into my hands.
Thank you Lord for the economy of the world has no bearing on my heavenly provisions.
Glory and honour to your name. Amen

Psalm 39:1 - Let the Holy Spirit muzzle me

To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.
I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Prayer

Lord with your help I decide today that I will be careful in my interaction with people.
By your grace I will not hurt anyone on purpose, neither will I put people down.
Help me as I decide not to say wicked or malicious things, I decide not to sin with my heart or my tongue.
Lord no matter the provocation, if and when I try to cross the line let the Holy Spirit restrain me in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Proverbs 18:21 - There is life in my tongue

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Prayer

Help me O God to be conscious of all I say.
Teach me to train my heart to speak the words of life at all times.
Give me a heart that will think like you think. You have thoughts of good and not evil for me all the time.
Breathe upon my words and let them come to pass.
Thank you father in Jesus name I have prayed. Amen.

Proverbs 27:8 - Help me locate my nest

As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place.

Prayer

Thank you for providing a nest, a place of blessing, a job, a business and a ministry for me.
Help me to locate where my nest is.
Show me how to maintain my nest and help me to get the best out of my nest.
I pray greed will not cause me to wander after another man’s nest.
I pray what people say or what I hear that isn’t from you will not cause me to abandon my nest.
Give me a heart that will be content with what you have blessed me with.
Thank you father for divine provision and direction.
I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

2 Samuel 22:48-49 - My avenger

It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for fighting on my behalf, avenging me even when I am unaware of what is been done against me.
Thank you for lifting me up far above where the darts of the enemy can touch me. I am in you and I am safe.
The violence from the violent is irrelevant where I am concerned.
Glory be to God.
I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

2 Samuel 22:44-45 - He has delivered me

Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.

Prayer

Thank you for delivering from the striving of people known and unknown.
By your grace I lift up my head and step up to be the head that you have made me to be.
Wherever I go because you have favoured me, I will be in charge; whatever I decree shall be established in Jesus name.
Thank you father, in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Chronicles 28:7 - Constant Obedience

Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.

Prayer

Help me to play my part, constantly obeying without fail, neither turning to the left or to the right.
Let my ways please you so that my descendants and I benefit from promise to establish me in your presence.
Thank you my Lord and my God in Jesus name. Amen.
