Luke 1:33 - Reign Jesus Reign

And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for allowing me to be part of the house of Jacob.

By your grace I will not fall out of your family in Jesus name.

Thank you Jesus for your Kingdom is forever. You will reign in the hearts of the people for ever.

Merry Christmas. May you be enveloped by the love of Jesus Christ continually. Amen

Mark 1:8 - Baptize me with the Holy Spirit

I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

Prayer

Let the fire of the Holy Ghost rest upon me.

Let the grace of the Holy Ghost rest upon me.

Let all the gifts of the Holy Ghost be released unto me now and forever in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 1:23 - God with us

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Prayer

Thank you for the miracle of the virgin birth for without it, I would still be in darkness.

Your son Jesus came from heaven to earth and dwelt with us in the flesh.

The name “Emmanuel” has continued to work for us for you are with us at all times.

Blessed be your holy name. 

You are a loving God. Amen.

Hebrews 3:12 - My heart must believe

 Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

Prayer

Let my heart of stone be replaced with a heart of flesh now in Jesus name.

I do not want to fall away from the living God because without you, there is no life.

Help me so that I’ll now believe you with all my heart in Jesus name. Amen

Hebrews 3:11 - Let me enter into your rest

As I swore in my wrath, 'They shall not enter my rest.'"

Prayer

In your mercy, do not swear to me in wrath for it is irrevocable.

I ask that your mercy prevail at all times. Let the death of Jesus Christ work for me.

Let me rest from a life of toiling.

Let me enter into your rest in Jesus name. Amen

Hebrews 3:6 - Faith until the end

But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

Prayer

I surrender completely to you as my Lord.

Thank you Lord for your faithfulness in looking after me.

Help me so that my faith in you will keep me until the very end in Jesus name. Amen

Deuteronomy 6:18 - Possessing my possession

And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may go well with you, and that you may go in and take possession of the good land that the LORD swore to give to your fathers

Prayer

Incline my heart to always do what is right in your sight rather than what is right in the sight of the world.

Let it be well with me and all that concerns me in Jesus name.

Help me LORD to step forward and possess my possession in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Deuteronomy 6:6 - Diligence in teaching my children

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

Prayer

Lord, I can’t teach what I do not know and what I do not practice.

Therefore help me as I willingly open my heart to your word in Jesus name.

Help me to be diligent in teaching my children your word.

Help me as I teach my children to love you, fear you, honour you and serve you. Amen

Proverbs 28:5 - Give me understanding

Proverbs 28:5 

Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

Prayer

I do not want to have anything to do with evil.

Help me LORD to understand what is right and what is wrong.

Help me LORD to seek you and also to do your will at all times in Jesus name. Amen
