1 Peter 3:1, 7

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Prayer
I pray that as I obey the word of God, my conversation and my character will win my husband/wife and all around me for Christ.
As a woman, Lord help me to be subject to my husband
As a man, Lord help me to honour my wife , dealing with her knowledgeably knowing that in so doing my prayers will not be hindered.
Thank you for the grace of life. Amen

Jonah 3:9-10

Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Prayer

I pray that that as I make the decision to turn away from all manner of evil, the Lord will see my heart as only he can see.
I pray that the Almighty will look at what Christ did on the cross of cavalry and my sins he will remember no more. Amen

Proverbs 28:1 - Benefit of righteousness

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Prayer

Lord I desire to live a life of righteousness.
Help me everyday, every moment to walk this path in Jesus name.
As I live this way, I will have nothing to fear because I am just like my father, the lion of the tribe of Judah.
I pray that every agent of wickedness will run away even when none is running after them. They will hear one man’s footsteps (prayers) and they will think a battalion is chasing after them. Amen.

1 Peter 2:21-24

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Prayer

I pray that the grace that was sufficient for Jesus will abide in me.
I thank that by the stripes of Jesus I am healed.

Ezekiel 2:2

And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

Prayer

Just as the spirit of God entered into Ezekiel, I pray that the same spirit will enter into me as the Lord speaks to me.
I pray that as the Lord speaks I will hear and I will be moved to do what needs to be done, amen.

Jonah 3:4-5

And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

Prayer

I pray that as I proclaim your word, the people will believe.
Let there be a turning away from sin.
Touch their hearts Lord.
The kingdom of heaven must gain and the devil has lost the battle.
Thank you father in Jesus name, amen.

Ephesians 4:17-18

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Prayer

Lord help me not to walk in the way I used to in the past.
Help me to clear my mind of the things that I held dear but really do not have any value
In every area where my mind was darkened, in areas where I have found it difficult to understand the new me, let your light come in.

Job 7:17 -18

What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?
And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and try him every moment?

Prayer

Lord I thank you for allowing me to be your son, even with all my imperfections.
I pray that I will be alert to your presence as you visit me every morning, being still to hear you and understanding what you have for me for the day.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Jonah 3:1

And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,

Prayer

Father I pray that I will always obey your commands.
Where I do not do what I am supposed to do, I ask that you will give me another chance whenever I mess up.
Help me God in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Peter 2:13-15

Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

Prayer

Father help me to submit to those you have placed in authority over me.
Lord put good ideas in their hearts so that they will rule for the benefit of the people.
Where they go against your will, they will not rest until you remove them from their offices. Government should bring glory to you. Amen

Jonah 2:9-10

But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Prayer

Lord though I might not be in the belly of a fish, but conditions indicate I am in the middle of nowhere.
I ask for your help, deliver me from this situation. There is nothing happening to me that you are not aware off. Make me whole again.
I promise to pay the vows I have made in the past; I will continue to bring sacrifices of praise unto you.
Thank you father as you are my God that answers prayers. I know I am on my way to my high places. Amen

1 Peter 2:12

Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Prayer

I pray that at all times and no matter where I am, all I do will bring glory to your name.
Help me father for I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

Jonah 2:4

Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

Prayer

Lord I pray that nothing will ever take me out of your presence, is it disobedience, pride, stubbornness?
Lord I ask that you hold my hand daily and help me to overcome all such behaviour in Jesus name.
Father I pray today that if at all I am far from you, I will have the presence of mind to call on you for mercy rather than waste my time trying to sort things better left to you. Amen.

Nehemiah 9:6

Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

Prayer

I join the host of heaven this day to worship you, my Lord and my king.
Most high God, the Almighty, our shield and banner, Lion of the tribe of Judah, You who do not sleep neither do you slumber, your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth.
You loved us so much, you gave up your son to die for the world.
You said let there be, and there was, you made everything, nothing was made that was made.
The one who questions you does so that his peril.
Let my worship of you be acceptable to you this day in Jesus name. Amen

1 Peter 2:2

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Prayer

I pray that your word continues to provide nourishment for my soul.
I also pray that as I allow the word to work in me, it will show in my character and I will continue to grow in Jesus name

1 Peter 1:15-16

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Prayer

I thank you for finding mw worthy to be called by you and I pray that the same grace will enable me to be holy in all manner of conversation.
I pray that my words will be holy and will edify all who hear; even the words left unsaid will be holy.
I pray that my reaction to what is said to me will always be holy and I pray what I wear at all times will be holy unto you, Jehovah.
It is your command, help me father to obey, I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Peter 1:8 - Joy in my faith

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Prayer

My God and my king, I might not have seen you physically, by faith I am in you and you are in me.
When I see the works of your hand, I see you and I appreciate you, joy fills my heart because I know I have a father, Almighty father who is the king of kings and the lord of lords.

1 Peter 1:7

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Prayer

I pray that at all times when my faith is tried, I will not fall to temptation.
I pray my behaviour or reaction will always bring honour and glory to your name.
Thank you for grace that will always see me through in Jesus name. Amen.

Nehemiah 8:14

And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month:

Prayer

Lord as I dwell in your presence, I pray that I would in your word the specific instruction that would take me to my high places in Jesus name. Amen

2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Prayer

I pray that my heart will be perfect towards the Lord from this day in Jesus name.
Open my eyes to the foolish things that I still find myself thinking about or doing.
All those things that stand between me and you, my father help me to thrash them in Jesus name.
Lord show yourself strong concerning me and all that is mine, as I draw towards you, lift me up for your name to be glorified.
Thank you father in Jesus name, amen.

Nehemiah 8:10

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Prayer

After hearing from you today, I go on with joy in my heart because you have told me that my joy in you is the basis of my strength.
I go on this day in the assurance that all I need to accomplish will come easy to me in Jesus name.
Thank you for the grace to share what you have blessed me with those who do not have.
All glory and honour to your name. Amen

Nehemiah 8:9

And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

Prayer

I pray that as I hear or read the word, my heart will be stirred up to receive into my heart all I am encountering.
I pray that the word I receive into my heart will be life changing at all times.
By the grace of God I will never take the word for granted. Amen.

Nehemiah 8:3

And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.

Prayer

As I pay attention to what you are saying to them through various means, grant me a heart that will understand, help me to meditate on what you say and teach me how to apply it to better my life. Amen

Nehemiah 8:1

And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.

Prayer

I pray for unity within my immediate and extended family, for unity within my church and within all followers of Christ.
I pray for revival in the lands of the world, a desire in the nations to hear what God is saying in these times, and a heart to do as God is saying. Amen.

Nehemiah 6:15-16

So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.
And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.

Prayer

I pray that all projects I embark on and whatever I lay my hands on, your grace will enable me to finish in Jesus name.
I also ask that that you make it know to all, friend and enemy alike that your mighty hand is in all I do.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Nehemiah 6:14

My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.

Prayer

Lord I ask that you reward every evil prophet and agent of any sort with destruction in Jesus name.
As your glory increases in my life and surrounds all that I am involved with, let fear and intimidation surround every agent of evil working against me in Jesus name. Amen

Nehemiah 6:12-13

And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.

Prayer

I thank you father for giving him the ability to discern good from evil.
Every plan of the devil is nullified in Jesus name, every evil report I return to sender in Jesus name.
I refuse fear because God has not given me a spirit of fear. Amen.

Nehemiah 6:3

And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?

Prayer

Lord help me to be sensitive to the importance and urgency in whatever I am called to do.
As the devil comes with distractions, help me to maintain focus so I will not be blown away from the course you have chosen for me. Amen

Nehemiah 3:1-2

Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.

Prayer

Lord give me the grace to build, a heart that will see things that are not right and doing something about it.
I pray for men and women who will join hands with me as I rise up to impact the society around me, with each person knowing what to do and doing it. Amen

Nehemiah 5:19

Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.

Prayer

Lord I ask that you think of me for good today out of your loving kindness.
Let my good works stand me in good stead with you, my God and my king.
Bless me and all that concerns me.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

Nehemiah 5:15

But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.

Prayer

I ask for the spirit of the fear of the lord to overwhelm me at all times ensuring that my decisions will show who I am responsible to, God, self or my fellow man. Amen.
