1 Chronicles 29:17 - I want to be upright

I know, my God, that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you.

Prayer

Help me to be upright all the days of my life.

I struggle at times. Help me give all pleasure at all times.

Let me have a heart that will love sharing what you have blessed me with in Jesus name. Amen

Hebrews 12:1 - Following good examples

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us

Prayer

Incline my eyes and my heart to all the acts of all who have gone before me.

I ask that you help me follow the examples of their testimonies.

Help me win the battle against sin which deflects me from the race ahead of me.

Grant me grace to persevere at all times in Jesus name. Amen

1 Thessalonians 2:4 - Pleasing God

But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which tests our hearts.

Prayer

Thank you for trusting your children with proclaiming the gospel.

I pray that day after day I will please you in this and in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Philippians 2:1-2 - Unity with the brethren

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,

complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Prayer

Help me derive encouragement from being in you.

Help me so I’ll live in unity and in one accord with all your children in Jesus name. Amen
