Mark 14:36a - Abba Father

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible for you.

Prayer

Help me have a childlike intimacy with you.

All I want to do is to trust you as my father.

Let my eyes be open to the truth that all things are possible for you in Jesus name. Amen

2 Corinthians 6:18 - Abba Father

and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty."

Prayer

Help me and show me how to experience you as father.

Help me approach you without fear in Jesus name. Amen

Malachi 1:6 - I must honour God

A son honours his father, and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is my honour? And if I am a master, where is my fear? says the LORD of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. But you say, 'How have we despised your name?

Prayer

Help me honour you my Lord in thoughts, words and deeds.

Help me give you the honour that you deserve.

Let the spirit of the fear of the Lord reign in me.

Help me give you the reverence that is due to you.

My action or inaction must not despise my Lord and Master in Jesus name. Amen.

Matthew 7:22-23 - Judgement Day

On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?'

And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

Prayer

Help me remember at all times that there is a day of judgement when all men will account for their actions on earth.

Let your grace rest on me such that I will not be part of the company that will depart from presence forever in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 7:21 - My Master

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Prayer

Let my life demonstrate that you are my Lord.

Help me submit to you in loving obedience, today and every day in Jesus name. Amen
