Matthew 15:18-20 - Sanctify my heart

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Prayer

I ask that you sanctify my heart such that all I think about and all I say do not defile me.
Help me as I determine to say things that will bring glory to your name alone.
Help me to focus on things that are important, things that can cause me to fall out of my relationship with you.
Thank you my LORD and my God, I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

Mark 9:23 - All things are possible

 

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Prayer

I receive a heart of faith today in Jesus name.

I believe that every promise of God to me will come to pass in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Acts 16:25-26 - Let the earth quake

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Prayer

I pray that at all times, no matter the circumstances I will sing and praise God.

I pray that the heavens will respond whenever I call.

I pray that every shackle must fall off in Jesus name.

Every door closed is now opened in Jesus name. Amen

1 Samuel 16:7 - Seeing into the heart

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Prayer

I pray I will not do anything that will cause you to refuse me.

I ask that you continually have mercy on me O God.

Grant me a discerning spirit so that I can have insight into things.

Help me to look on the inside and not on the outward appearance any longer.

I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

1 Samuel 17:47 - The battle is the Lord's

And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands.

Prayer

Thank LORD for your faithfulness. I put my trust in you as I surrender my battles to you.

The world must know that you are indeed the Almighty.

I ask that you give every agent of the devil into my hands.

Thank you LORD, as you always answer me. I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

1 Samuel 17:40 - Five smooth Stones

And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.

Prayer

Help me O Lord as I choose scripture which I would choose in my battle against the enemy.

I pray that my faith is stirred up as I go against those arrayed against me.

Thank you for you have helped me in the past and you will continue to help me in Jesus name. Amen.

Titus 1:9 - Teach mr to hold fast

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

Prayer

Help me to hold fast to your word understanding that it is life and it is power.

Give me a teachable heart that will continually yearn for the word.

Help to discern good doctrine and also to close my heart to doctrine that is not from you.

Help me to open my mouth at every opportunity and to speak to people about the gospel.

I trust that the Holy Spirit will convict all who hear the word of God.
