Holding fast the faithful word as he hath
been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to
convince the gainsayers.
Prayer
Help me to hold fast to your
word understanding that it is life and it is power.
Give me a teachable heart that
will continually yearn for the word.
Help to discern good doctrine and
also to close my heart to doctrine that is not from you.
Help me to open my mouth at
every opportunity and to speak to people about the gospel.
I trust that the Holy Spirit
will convict all who hear the word of God.
Thank you father, I have prayed
in Jesus name. Amen.
