And I will pour upon the house of David,
and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications:
Prayer
I ask for an outpouring of the Spirit
of grace upon me this day.
Let your light shine into my
soul and lead me into a state of favour.
I ask that you put the desire to
pray into my heart.
Let the spirit help me to
marshal the arguments, put fervency into my heart and stir up my faith.
Help me O LORD to live to pray.
Amen.
