Mark 8:34 - Following Christ

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Prayer

I want to follow you in every sense of the world.

Give me the heart of a follower.

Let me be lost to the ways of the world. Help me to deny myself of worldly things.

Help me walk in grace through the challenges and persecutions that would come as a result of my following you in Jesus name. Amen

Ephesians 5:1 - Following God

Therefore be followers of God, as dear children.

Prayer

Thank you father for you have adopted me as your child.

Let my faith in Jesus Christ grow every day.

Let me follow you in righteousness and holiness.

Let me follow you in acts of kindness and charity to the less privileged in Jesus name.
