John 17:2-3

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Prayer

Thank you for the gift of eternal life.
I have not worked for it, nor paid for it.
Thank you for causing me to accept you as the only true God and that you came to earth as the man, Jesus to die for my sins. Amen.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Prayer

Thank you for the peace that I have because of the promises that have been released into my life.
Lord you have put everything under my feet. As you have overcome the world, I will live in victory for the rest of my life. Amen

Psalm 16:11

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Prayer

Lord I have your life in me, I thank you.
There are many pathways to choose from, help me to make the right choices, the choices that will not lead to me missing out on heaven.
Let me forever dwell in your presence so that I’ll live a life of joy.
Let your name be glorified. Amen.

John 16:24

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Prayer

Thank you for the free pass you have given me.
From this day help me to remember that all I need is a prayer session away and my joy will be full.
In Jesus name I have prayed. Amen.

John 16:13

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Prayer

Thank you for your Spirit that is in me.
I pray that as the Spirit guides me into all truth, I will conscious of the voice of the Spirit to hear, after hearing, help me to obey.
As the Spirit shows me the things to come, help me to assess them and take the proper steps thereafter.
Thank you father in Jesus name. Amen.

John 15:18-20

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Prayer

Help me to stay true to you.
Help me to resist the cares of this world.
Be my shield and protect me from whatever the world throws at me because I am no longer part of the world.
Thank you father. I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

John 14:30

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Prayer

As the prince of this world has nothing in you, I ask that you help me to the level where I will be bold to say the same thing.
Thank you for helping me in Jesus name. Amen.
