Mark 10:21-22 - Go sell your possessions

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

Prayer

Your commandment is that I love you with all my heart, soul and mind.

Let it be my desire that you are more important than anything and everything in life.

Help me move my focus away from things and move my focus to you in Jesus name. Amen.

Isaiah 28:25-26 - Give me knowledge

When the face of the earth has been levelled, does he not put in the different sorts of seed, and the grain in lines, and the barley in its place, and the spelt at the edge?

For his God is his teacher, giving him the knowledge of these things.

Prayer

I submit myself to the teaching of the Holy Spirit.

Teach me how to sow and where to sow my seed.

Help me to use the knowledge you bless me with, with wisdom in Jesus name. Amen

Isaiah 28:24 - Move forward

Is the ploughman for ever ploughing? does he not get the earth ready and broken up for the seed?

Prayer

Help me to move forward O Lord.

In every area where I am going round in circles, deliver me I pray. Amen.

Mark 10:15 - Childlike humility

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

Prayer

Lord I need every element of pride in me to die.

I ask for childlike humility to as to receive the kingdom of God.

Lord the alternative must not happen in Jesus name. Amen

Isaiah 28:6 - Defence into attack

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

Prayer

Help me to take every battle to the gates of every agent of the devil.

I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen
