Acts 19:19-20 - I will spread your word

Moreover, many people who had practiced occult arts gathered their books and burned them in front of everybody. They estimated their value and found them to have been worth 50,000 silver coins.

In that way the word of the Lord kept spreading and triumphing.

Prayer

My prayer is that in this season, your word will spread to the far corners of the earth.

Men’s hearts will be touched and they will willingly give up all association with the devil.

Eyes will be opened and men will come to the realisation that occultic items have no value in Jesus name. Amen

Acts 19:17 - They must be terrified

When this became known to everyone living in Ephesus, Jews and Greeks alike, they all became terrified, and the name of the Lord Jesus began to be held in high honour.

Prayer

Let the news of my victory over the enemy go forth both in the physical and in the spiritual realm.

Let all his agents hide in terror and shame.

Let your name in glorified, in the heavens and on earth in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 19:15-16 - I will not be overpowered

But the evil spirit told them, "Jesus I know, and I am getting acquainted with Paul, but who are you?"

Then the man with the evil spirit jumped on them, got the better of them, and so violently overpowered all of them that they fled out of the house naked and bruised.

Prayer

I pray I will never be in a state where an evil spirit will be asking me questions.

I ask that your light shine perpetually all over me in Jesus name.

Let the power of the Holy Spirit be upon me.

Let your fire destroy every agent of the devil on assignment against me in Jesus name.

Back me up at all times O Lord. Amen.

Acts 19:11-12

God continued to do extraordinary miracles through Paul.

When handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched his skin were taken to the sick, their diseases left them and evil spirits went out of them.

Prayer

I make myself available, use me to wrought miracles that will bring glory to you, and you alone. Amen

Acts 19:8 - Grace to speak about the good news

He went into the synagogue and spoke there boldly for three months, holding discussions and persuading those who heard him about the kingdom of God.

Prayer

Help me to walk in the grace of Paul to hold discussions with people you send my way.

As I speak let the Holy Spirit bring conviction into their hearts causing them to accept your son Jesus as LORD and saviour. Amen.
