Colossians 2:6-7 - Rooted in Christ

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Prayer

Thank you for giving up Jesus Christ for me.

I agree that Jesus Christ is my Lord.

Help me to understand what it takes to live as a bond servant of Jesus Christ.

Help me to walk in Jesus Christ daily so that I will be rooted and built up in Jesus.

Give me hearing ears and a heart that desires to be taught by you.

Thank you father for the abundance of grace available to me. I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

Acts 16:31 - Believe on the Lord Jesus

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Prayer

Thank you for the assurance that as I believe in Jesus Christ, I am saved from the law of sin and death.

With all my heart I accept that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I am his servant.

I pray that with your help I will continue to let all of my house know that Jesus is the way of salvation.

Thank you for doing all the work and saving me. Amen.

Colossians 1:17 - Hold me together

 

And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Prayer

Thank you God for giving me Jesus Christ.

Thank you for holding the world together by your mighty power.

Thank you for all you have done for me.

I pray that all areas of my life will be held together by you in Jesus name.

With your help I will not fail. Amen.

Songs of Solomon 2:15 - Foxes that spoil

Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.

Prayer

Help me to keep my heart from things that are programmed to destroy me and also from things that are planted to destroy my trust in you.

I pray that I will not neglect all that is in my care.

Grant me the grace to identify foxes big and small and stop them spoiling my blessings in Jesus name. Amen.

Malachi 3:2 - Time for cleansing

But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

Prayer

I thank you for it is only by grace that I stand before you today.

I pray I will never fall out of your grace so that when you come again, I will be found abiding.

I ask that the fire in your word refine me and burn away every impurity.

I ask for a proper cleansing so that I would be able to stand before you.
