Exposition
The steadfast love of the Lord never
ceases - Love between people is always based on ‘something’.
That is why when that ‘something’ is no longer there, the love comes to an end.
In a time of trouble, God appeared to Prophet Jeremiah and revealed to him that
despite the torment and anguish he was going through as a result of Jerusalem’s
situation God still loves him.
This means that in
that supposedly bad condition, God’s love is available for you.
The bible says that
God Himself is love. Love is defined by God. That is why God could give up, His
Son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world.
his mercies never come to an end - Rather than judgement, God shows mercy. God’s grace and goodness is available
to you at all times.
they are new every morning - Yesterday’s sins are forgiven if you go to God and ask for
forgiveness.
great is your faithfulness - The faithfulness of God is described as ‘great’ and not small or
ordinary. Whatever God has said He will do, He does because He does not need a committee
to decide whether He will back up His word concerning you.
Accept God’s love and
enjoy His faithfulness. Accept His outstretched arms welcoming you into His
family. If you already have, continue to enjoy the grace that is available to
His children.

Prayer
Thank you for your
unending love which is not seasonal. Thank you for your mercies, thank you for
the grace that is available to me. Thank you because despite the situation I am
in today, I can reach out to you and you will see me through. I declare that my
‘today’ will be better than my ‘yesterday’ in Jesus name. Amen
