Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
Prayer
Let my ears be attuned to the sounds around me.
Lord grant me the grace to hear beyond the sounds.
Lord make me uncomfortable until I respond to the needy.
I pray that whenever I cry out the heavens will hear and I will receive help at the point of my need in Jesus name. Amen
