2 Samuel 22:42-43 - My testimony will be news

They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.

Prayer

I know you will not answer calls from workers of iniquity.
Thank you Lord for I know you and the hosts of heaven are on my side.
Thank you because you have given me victory over my enemy and his agents.
By your grace I will continue to testify of my victories: My testimony will be noise abroad and men will be drawn to you in Jesus name. Amen.

2 Samuel 22:40-41 - Strength to battle

For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.

Prayer

Thank you for the strength to fight.
Thank you for weapons of our warfare.
Thank you for the word of life available to me.
Thank you for the victory over all who rose against me.
You fought the battles and I am enjoying the spoils of victory.
Thank you Lord of hosts, for all my enemies are under my feet.
Thank you for Jesus. Amen.

Isaiah 1:18-19 - I want to reason with you

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Prayer

I thank you father for the opportunity to come into your presence to talk to you.
Lord I thank you for you do not see my sins, rather you see me righteous because of the work of your precious son, Jesus Christ.
Help me bring the prayers out of your word so as to reason with you.
I do want to eat the good of the land; help me follow the Holy Spirit so I will remain obedient.
Thank you for your loving kindness. I have prayed in Jesus name, Amen.

Isaiah 1:15-17 - Let my prayer come unto you

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Prayer

I ask that as I pray today and always, that you allow my prayers to come unto you.
I identify the error of my ways and I ask for forgiveness.
I thank you for the blood of Jesus that has washed me clean of every attachment to evil.
I pray that you will continue to teach me to do well in your sight.
I ask for a heart that will have the interests of the oppressed, fatherless and the widow.
I desire to be a blessing to all such groups. See me through in the tasks; let your name be glorified.

2 Samuel 22:47 - My Rock

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for you are alive forevermore. You have not changed. You are dependable, you are always available, glory be to you on High.
For the gift of salvation to mankind, I appreciate you.
Thank you for Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hebrews 4:11 - Entering into the rest of Christ

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Prayer

Teach me all I need to do to enter into and stay in a position of rest with you.
Help me to study the word, obey what the word says and also to depend on the Holy Spirit to guide me into the truth.
Despite the challenges, help me to be focused and consistent lest I fall into unbelief.
Thank you Lord for answering my prayers.
I have prayed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hebrews 4:9 - Show me my rest

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Prayer

I ask that you show me how to enjoy the rest you have provided for your children.
Lead me by your grace to the benefits available to me.
I know in you I have peace, joy and holiness.
Let your name be glorified.
Thank you my Lord and my God in Jesus name, Amen.

Hebrews 4:2 - The gospel must work for me

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to hear the good news of salvation.
I pray all that I have heard and all that I continue to hear will profit me.
Lord grant me the faith to accept the complete package of the gospel.
You are a wonderful God. I have prayed in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Acts 16:14 - Open my heart Lord

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

Prayer

Lord just as you opened the heart of Lydia, in your mercy open my heart to receive your word.
Let the light in your word flush out darkness; let your word bring transformation into my life, removing unbelief and hardness of heart.
Let the hold of sin be broken today in the name of Jesus.
Let your word today bring me to a place where I will know that doing things your way is the only way.
I pray today that as Lydia attended to all that Paul spoke, I will not only hear the Paul you have sent to me, but I will do what he says according to your word.

Hebrews 3:1-2 - Heavenly partaker

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to partake of the heavenly calling available to mankind; salvation and the many blessings attached to being part of your family.
I pray that as Christ Jesus and Moses were faithful to you, you’d help me to the path of faithfulness in Jesus name. Amen.

Hebrews 2:18 - Help me overcome temptation

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Prayer

Thank you son of God for what you did for me.
You left your glory in heaven to become a man.
You suffered the humiliation of been tempted so as to help me whenever satan tempts me to do things his way.
I pray this day that as you were able to overcome temptation, you will always help me do the same in Jesus name.
Thank you again my father and my God in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Hebrews 2:7-8 - Under my feet

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Prayer

Thank you father for you have crowned me with glory and honour.
Thank you putting me in charge of all you created.
I ask for wisdom to deal with all that comes my way, day by day.
Thank you for putting all things under my feet.
I take charge and rise above everything declaring, you trouble me no more.
Thank you Lord, I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

Proverbs 4:26-27 - Help me stay within my boundaries

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Prayer

I want to be conscious of my ways, help me as I do so in Jesus name.
Help me as I determine not to turn to the way of sin.
Teach me where my boundaries are, so I do not transgress.
Give me a heart that desires holiness, a heart that is not attracted to sin.
Thank you my Lord and my God. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

1 Corinthians 3:18-19 - I need your wisdom

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

Prayer

I do not want to deceive myself. I empty myself of all I know and all I think I know.
You have said whoever wants wisdom should ask you.
Lord give me your wisdom.
Let your name be glorified.
Thank you father. I have prayed in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 - Temple of God

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Prayer

Teach me how to take care of my body because it is your temple.
Teach me how to relate to the spirit of God that dwells in me.
I need to know how you speak to me, the things you are happy with and the things you don’t want me involved with.
I do not want to be destroyed by you, I ask for a heart that would hate sin, a heart that would not bring shame to you my father.
Thank you for helping me. I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 - My work must abide

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Prayer

Let my work abide; the ones done in the daytime and those that are done when no man can see.
Let my work stand the test of fire.
Help me concentrate on doing things that will bring reward to me.
Help me to remember always that there are things that are done that lead to loss.
It is your plan that I am saved by grace. That will not change.
