My son, keep your father's commandment, and
forsake not your mother's teaching.

a child, help me LORD to keep and obey all the instructions of my parents.
Help
me not to slight them in any manner.
As
a parent, help me to give Godly instructions to my children.
I
do not want to lead my children astray.
