Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let
us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run
with endurance the race that is set before us
Prayer
Incline my eyes and my heart to all the acts of all who have gone before
me.
I ask that you help me follow the examples of their testimonies.
Help me win the battle against sin which deflects me from the race ahead
of me.
Grant me grace to persevere at all times in Jesus name. Amen
